New Patients

Patients who have not previously been certified in Florida must see Dr. Springs in person for one visit. After that, the patient would be an existing patient, able to obtain recertification from Dr. Springs by telehealth.

Transfer Patients

Patients who have been certified in Florida by a different doctor need to see Dr. Springs in person once. Then they are able to be recertified with Dr. Springs remotely using telehealth.

Recertifications

Newly enacted Florida law provides that only the doctor who has previously seen the patient in person can renew certification remotely via telehealth, meaning by zoom, facetime, or telephone.
